Kashkadarya

   Kashkadarya is one of the largest provinces in Uzbekistan. Its convenient geographical location differentiates if from other provinces in the country. Kashkadarya is located in southeast of the country, in the Kashkadarya River Basin and on the western edges of the Pamir-Alai Mountain Range.

The Kashkadarya region is very rich in natural resources. There are the largest fields of hydro carbonic resources of Uzbekiston. There are large deposits of gold, silver, aluminum, tungsten, iron, molybdenum, granite, coal, marble in the region.

Kashkadarya is one of the largest industrial regions of Uzbekistan. There are about 1972 large and small industrial enterprises operating in the region.
